About Sarah

Alongside this work, she graduated with an honours degree in Psychology and moved into the arena of management consultancy.

Continuing her work in project design, she went on to create and deliver high-level commercial initiatives as a company director across a wide range of industries including hospitality, retail, construction and business development.

After realising her long held dream of moving to Cornwall and returning to Celtic roots, Sarah settled into Lizard life, soon becoming aware of the number of sea-related accidents that occur around the coast, particularly at summertime. This moved her to undertake beach lifeguard support training and join in the resurrection of her disbanded local Surf Life-saving club.

Wanting sea safety knowledge and awareness to be more widely known, Sarah embarked on her first novel for teenagers, Lizard Legacy, and a range of illustrated children's groups for the under ten age group. Her hope is that, by entwining the sea -safety teaching through a medium of magic and fun, the message of enjoying the sea safely will stick in the minds of the young readers (and their parents) and may one day save a life.

In her free time, Sarah loves to read, paint (both walls and canvases), hang out with her husband and two teenaged children, practise yoga, spend time in the sea and on the beach, and take long , coastal walks with the dog, Poseidon.

She is continually inspired by the natural splendour of her coastline home and is currently working on further titles in the Wizard on the Lizard series, a sequel to Lizard Legacy, and two other titles that are in the early stages of development.

Sarah grew up in North London and began her writing career in a commercial context, for a fashion company. After a number of years, she transitioned into the arena of financial control and accounting in the education sector, which is where she met her husband.

After a few months of travelling, Sarah managed the finances within the homelessness sector, and initiated and developed an integrated management and financial control system pioneering the use of biometric technology.
